This is probably one of the most helpful, and informative courses I have taken on Coursera! The content was challenging, but not frustrating, and relayed in an easy to understand way for a beginner in the IT field.

HIGHLY recommended for anyone interested in the IT field.

I'd thank Google and Coursera to bring this course for people who have a passion for the IT industry. This course helped me to gain essential knowledge about the IT industry. Although I'm a non-native English speaker, However, I can understand everything the teacher says.

Very nice introductory course for anyone interested in Information Technology. It covers all of the basics and gives you detailed information that is easy to understand for beginners. It's a great way to discover if Information Technology is the right career path for you.

Great foundational course that covers a broad range of information! I feel that it was a great overview of where IT came from and came to be, to what it is now. From some fun history, to software nuances - this was an awesome fundamentals course! I hope you enjoy it, too.

A lot of helpful information and things that I did not know I could do, love the teachers and how they encourage you to keep going as it if was a real class with the real people haha loved how you can interat with the class but I wished I could message some classmates too

This is a outstanding course. It breaks down the basics of a computer. I think that this course should be put out to the public on youtube. This is just general all around knowledge of a computer that would be helpful to almost anyone that has let technology pass them by!

I have no previous knowledge in computers and yet I am able to successfully understand almost everything that is going on! They explain the lessons very well and go into detail, which is what someone like me needs. This is a great course so far and I'm only half way done!

I found this course to be informative as well as full of fun videos that were easy to understand. I also like how it asks questions during videos to make sure you understand. All around this will challenge you and strengthen your knoweldge of computers and how they work.

It's a great place to start whether you've learned some by on the job training or are starting from scratch. I started with learning some of this on the job but taking this course really helped me fill in the gaps in my knowledge. Cannot wait to get into the next course!

It was very nice that at this time in my life (46 years old), very old for the world of IT, I was able to learn the basis of IT from people that most of them could be have my age. Very informative and easy to digest even topics that seemed hard to grasp at the beginning.

Course is awesome and easy to understand. I had issues in the labs always. Getting connecting to the labs takes 1-2 hours and assignment will be less than 15 min. It really takes up the huge amount of time when a person is a full time working with other house hold duties
