The concepts learned were really helpful. I had never realized that L&D had so many things in the backend. Looking forward to applying this. Onwards to the next course!

There is a lot of information but I don’t know how updated it is since it teaches the myth of learning styles which was already debunked for over 10 years. One of the lessons is in the wrong order; content within each video is very repetitive and verbose; content overlaps with other courses in the HRCI certification; some questions are repeated in quizzes; used different keywords in quizzes vs in the material which creates confusion.

Coursera has a shameless and the laziest support team. If you complete courses in two different subscriptions, they will deduct money but not issue a specialization certificate. I sent them dozens of emails and each time their useless support team say we are looking into your issue. Coursera is a fraudster

some of the material in this course has been comprehensively debunked (learning styles), and some of it (unless I didn't understand the material properly - which is a concern in itself) was actually wrong, most notably the section on training return on investment. I have my concerns about this course and I'm wondering whether it will adequately prepare me for the exam

Great course, delivered in a clear systematic and easy to understand way. Very relatable and questions match content exactly. Highly recommend for non-HR professionals looking to consolidate learning and development knowledge.

I learned valuable lessons on Bloom’s Taxonomy, adult learning, VAK learning styles, Talent Management Systems and the Kirkpatrick Model. For those who want to create their own learning and relevant experiences for the next steps in their career lifecycle, this course is a good choice.

I wish that the instructor spoke slower and went more into details. Some information on the test was not gone over well during the course.

The trainer reads off of the script and provides and example. Feels a bit redundant.

The final quiz is too long, it caused fatique to do it. Better to stay in less than 15 questions.

The course "Learning and Development" became for me a deep dive into modern approaches to the professional development of employees and the formation of a learning culture in the organization. I learned how to effectively assess learning needs, create relevant training programs, and measure their impact on business. It was especially interesting to get acquainted with the methods of adult education (andragogy), the development of business trainings, as well as the construction of leadership and talent development programs. The course showed how to properly approach training from the point of view of a strategic partnership of HR with business, and not only as a formal process. Attention to the issues of inclusion in training was also useful — how to ensure the availability and effectiveness of programs for all categories of employees, regardless of their individual needs and background. I already use the knowledge gained from the course during the preparation of training sessions and lectures, in particular within the framework of my assistant practice. This allows me not only to conduct classes, but also to build an educational process with a focus on results and development. In general, the course gave me practical tools and inspiration to work in the field of staff development, and I am sure that this knowledge will be extremely useful in future HR practice.

Very informative course. I was able to re-watch any of the videos that I felt I needed to get a better grasp of the subject matter. The quizzes were helpful in alerting me to what information I retained and what I need to re-study.
