This was a very informative course. I particularly appreciate the conciseness of the videos and readings. It's also simple enough for any leaner to understand regardless of background. I would recommend this course to folks looking to get into IT or up-skill.

Great course. I already worked in IT Support and have been dealing with IT for 20 years now, so I really didn't learn anything new, but the course is good and it's nice to have a certificate. The content quality and its presentation are top notch, seriouly.

I enjoyed working through the materials in the Technical Support Fundamentals course. Learning about the basic technical knowledge required for a career as an IT support specialist, as well as problem solving strategies and soft skills was a great experience.

All of the instructors and guests were great. While they were all reading off a teleprompter, they were easy to understand and made learning interesting. Technical ideas were presented simply and easily and the quizzes helped reinforce what was being learned.

This program is great. It was a refresher but I also learned how to build a computer. Now I can build my own. I would definitely recommend this program to anybody looking to get into IT. I actually did recommend someone. The people at Merit America are great.

This course is very useful for someone who knows nothing about IT, for those who know about IT and want to brush up about what they had earlier learnt and finally for everyone to help you prepare for interviews and dealing with users for solving their issues.

This course is the start. Its a base. It does not go into much detail and covers many areas. It is great for what it is. Introduce you to the materials that you will be going into greater details with down the road. It has inspired me to continue on and grow.

A very good general introduction to computing and IT, as well as outlining the many skills that are necessary for the career. There is a lot of material to cover, and for anyone new to the profession or considering it, this is a good way to get a feel for it.

There was a lot of information that was structured in a very helpful way for learning, and I felt that all the information was relevant, and a great first step into the program. Very happy with my experience so far and excited to really get into the material.

The Technical Support Fundamentals introduced many IT concepts in a well manner. Google's class provided a variety of places to grasp the information, including tests and quizzes to test newly learned information via Coursera. I definitely enjoyed the course.

Everything in this course was new and exciting to me. I love the short and concise videos. I especially like the "not so good" and "good" scenario videos. I can believe those two were not professional actors and they were terrific. I hope to see more of them.

It's a lot of information in such a short time but it's so informative, interesting and worth it. I have learned how to use software that I've never heard of before and a lot of this was a refresher of what I learned by just playing around with the computer.

One of the best Introductory courses to Enter into the IT World . Clear Explanation with a great group of instructors and the friendly assignments to apply the knowledge learnt. Must learn course for everyone even if they don't want to enter the IT industry.

It's very basic. The Python course is a bit more robust and would recommend that if you have some IT knowledge. If not, this course is very good at explaining the fundamentals. I would recommend it to someone who has 0 knowledge about computers and networks.

This is a very basic course. It discusses the fundamentals of technical support and is meant to be a good starting point for beginners in IT. There are some mistakes in the vidoeo, but a pop-up will appear to pause the video and address/correct the mistakes.
