The course is very helpful.I had zero programming background but Coursera help me to familiar with python.The lectures by Dr.Chuck is easily understanding and explains with time. Also give assignments and quizzes after each chapters.

I highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn the basics of Python and computer programming. This is the first Coursera course I've completed and I'm looking forward to taking more Python and computer sciences courses.

I recommend you guys who are new to coding. Especially if you are a foreigner who cannot speak English. The professor's pronunciation is very accurate. Subtitles and audible words are sufficient to understand. Don't worry. Go for it.

Very good course for beginners as well as for the guys with experience in programming. As experienced developer passed the course in two days. However I learned lot of new things. Good balance between watching videos and programming.

I started more courses on different learning platforms, but left them all. Finished only this course because of Dr. Chuck. Thank you very much, the lectures were very well explained and the information was presented very interesting.

This course was recommended on Reddit for those who don’t like, or struggle with the math used in similar Coursera courses and I agree.

If you want to learn Python without needing a math refresher, this is the best course to take.

I am really surprised how I can already solve Python quizzes correctly after taking just the first course in this specialization. I'm really impressed and the instructor is the absolute best he made things really easy to understand.

The topic is presented in a way that is easy to understand. Most "beginner" programming courses tend to overlook lots of stuff that are complicated/confusing to newbies, while this course address nearly all of them.

This course is an excellent starting point if you are new to Python and programming. If you know some programming already but not Python, the course is still useful but you can move through it very quickly. The instructor is great.

A very detailed and well-explained course which helped me start off my journey into coding, I hope this program has the same impact on all other participants as it has had on me. Thank you, Dr.Chuck and Coursera.

Really good, well explained foundational course. I found my experience enhanced when I actually read the text prior to watching the videos (or the other way around. Getting the information two ways helped it stick a little better.
