I really enjoyed this course. It gave me a solid understanding of how change actually happens in health informatics not just from a technical perspective, but also how people, systems, and workflows all play a role. The assignments were practical and thought provoking, especially the DSS project, which helped me connect the dots between theory and real-world application. What I appreciated most was how the course pushed me to think critically about decision-making, system design, and the unintended consequences of technology. It wasn’t just about building tools it was about building tools that actually fit into people’s lives and improve outcomes.

This course was very engaging and thoughtfully designed and delivered. It offered a great variety of experiential learning through hands-on use of various tools, interviews with experts, and role-playing. The quizzes and assignments were spread throughout the course. There were also interesting lectures from subject matter experts on topics related to change management, pdsa quality improvement and strategic decision making. This was an excellent course!

Love the main speakers Dr Ashwini and Dr Greene, love the interview style videos. Some audio quality is not great, e.g. Dr Ashwini much louder than Dr Greene, but manageable. Other speakers are also very interesting, great team. Some questions in the quizzes are a bit long for a somewhat simple answer, but the detailed scenarios do make it more interesting. Struggled a little with the longer readings, luckily it is balanced with some videos.

Really awesome course with some great insights. The slides contained a great basis of knowledge and the readings were interesting. The final project was manageable and not overly tedious. Kudos to Dr. Davison!

Prof. Davidson is a great teacher. This course deepens the foundations given in the first course of the program. It also shows some of the applications that Health informatics.

The course was well structured and really informative. The lectures are informative and helpful. The lecturers are knowledgeable on the topic. My only criticism would be responsiveness by the course admins. Flagged issues that were raised, were not responded to in a timely fashion.

The course focuses on important part of Health IT, which is change management and how can we work on preparing the medical staff to work in harmoney with the IT team.
